The Europe Day activities included an exhibition of books on EU that were hand-made by children of Gjakova/Djakovica during a three-day workshop facilitated by the NGO Education Comes First. The  activities in the Pristina square – Meet the European family was another attraction on Europe Day with nine member states embassies, Ministry of European Integration, EULEX and EU Information and Cultural Centre, participating with their booths at Zahir Pajaziti Square and providing information about their respective countries and displaying EU related publications. On Europe Day, the interactive bus ‘Learning through Play’ took off to reach out youngsters in Prizren, Gracanica and Pristina offering entertaining group games and fun challenges while providing information about the EU. This activity was organized in partnership with the National Museum of Kosovo and aimed at giving children the opportunity to learn about the EU through games and quizzes designed specifically for schoolchildren. Amongst different games, the children got to draw EU member states maps, color EU Flags, write short essays, and come up with small theatre plays with costumes.

Two groups of visual artists from Pristina and North Mitrovica created two murals in on the theme of education in the respective cities. The mural in Pristina was placed on the façade of the Faculty of Arts, whereas the one in North Mitrovica was painted by Vuk Đurić, Dunja Veljković and Stefan Stevanović, all students of the Faculty of Arts, and decorates the main street of the city. The Europe Day festivities in North Mitrovica concluded with a concert by one of the most popular electronic-rock groups from Belgrade, Vroom. Having recorded five albums so far, Vroom has received undisputed critical acclaim, and their various singles reached the top of all the important top ten lists in the Western Balkans region.
